Can a business pay to have a claim shown as proven?
No. A line is proven only when a public record backs it. Payment can't turn a claim into proof, and it can't hide a gap in the record.
Does paying move a business up a list?
No. Lists follow the published score, which is mostly permits, records and review history. Paying customers are scored the same way as everyone else.
Who pays for the permit and record lookups?
We do, from what businesses pay for tools and leads. Every business gets the same lookups, paying or not.
How do I know a sponsored business when I see one?
It sits in a box labelled Sponsored, outside the ranked list, and its own ledger is read the same way as any other.
